just putting 2010 campy record cranks on new bike - put the cups on, safety clip and washer on the left cup... then realised i don't have the fixing bolt.

now, i appreciate this might be a dumb question, but shouldn't that bolt have been in the box with the crankset? (admittedly, i also wrongly expected the cups to be in there too... wrongly).

It is usually screwed into the crank on a new boxed set not rolling round inside - are you sure it is not in the end of the crank ?

Er, no, no, definitely not. No way. No sireee.

Well, truth be told, actually that's exactly where it was. Doh!

Found it last night, was hoping no-one was going to point out it was screwed into the end of the crank arm all along.
