I'm sure I was grateful enough anyway, and I did ask for your name (but have since forgotten again) but thanks.

I managed somehow to get a nail, (about 6-7cm) stuck in my rear tyre and it turned out my equipment couldn't undo the nutt to take my wheel off.

Anyway, he stopped, lent me some gear, let me change my tyre and was generally very nice.

So thanks! Who'd have though people in London are nice eh?

Though I do wonder what a nail of that size is doing in the middle of a bridge...


Oh and for someone who doesn't follow professional cycling 'very closely' you know a lot about the Tour of Flanders!!!

    Shame I don't climb like one.

    We'll brush over the fact that I was dropped whilst in the wheel on the way into Richmond Park.
