Was consdidering getting Campagnolo Veloce Power Torque chainset but not so sure now - do you need any specific tools to fit or adjust the BB cups and/or chainset?

Cups go in with the same sockets for Mega/Exo etc BBs (dont use the shallow Hollowtech ones) L/H crank goes on with an allen key

A puller tool to remove the left hand crank arm is major hassle and/or expense! Not sure I want to go down that route as I tend to regularly remove my cranks for cleaning etc.
Is the Power Torque system supposed to be fit and forget?
Do SRAM/Shimano chainsets need puller tools to or are they easier to remove?
    TIA :)

I've not removed one yet, but I doubt they are so tight that a gentle prise with a small screwdriver won't remove them. If you want some real fun try sourcing the puller they spec. The Campag tech rep at Eurobike didn't know what it was it's not on the Campag or Cyclus catalogue.

Shimano HTII stuff is very simple to fit / remove. You need a specific tool or spanner* which fits the BB cups (£5 - 10) and a little plastic thing to tighten / remove the crank cap that preloads the LH crank onto the axle (£2-3, or sometimes included with the BB tool) The LH crank is secured to the axle with 2 little allen bolts.

No pullers, presses or violence required.

    * I have the Shimano spanner type thing. It's just pressed from sheet steel, so it's quite uncomfortable to hold, and it's quite hard to keep it squarely located on the BB cup while heaving on it.
Were I buying again I'd go for the socket type which should be easier to locate on the BB cup (some have a securing bolt) and enable use of a torque wrench.

Many thanks for the info guys, I'm building a bike and had planned Veloce/Centaur drivetrain but don't want the hassle of puller tools to dismantle the chainset/BB for maintenance.
I've considered an FSA Gossamer Pro or even SRAM/Travitiv chainset BB instead so good to hear the options. No doublt I'll have a feww question about other parts later
