Today I received my new orange G3, but under advice from a mate I chose to upgrade the Toras to some FOX shocks. This is a bit embarrassing, but im not sure if these are correct from what the website says. All FOX shocks look a bit similar and I cant work out if the ones I got were better or worse than the ones ordered?

The ones I have on the bike are shown here (I think)- says 2012 preview but it has the old 2011 stickers. They say FLOAT Evolution on the front;

However the ones I ordered through state F-series on the top?

Any ideas? Sorry I was not sure which forum to place this q in?

    so lets have images of YOUR forks.

    or ask the seller what they provided.

    You have Floats which are the trail/all mountain forks.

    F series are their XC forks, or used to be.
  • Looks like Fox have rename the F series to Float for 2012, so you've got the 2012 version of the 2011 fork you ordered, I'd be happy with that. They must have run out of the 2011 stock already.

    2012 decals at least, no Kashima coating, suggesting a 2011 OEM fork.
