I have a set of Mavic Ksyrium Elite on my Scott Addict R2 and thinking of upgrading to lighter wheels to help climbing, can someone suggest a set that will suit rider with budget of up to £600.

Have a look there, quite a few to choose from. For £350 ish you could take a punt on some 50mm clinchers from Dengfu or Carbonzone, they seem to be well thought of.

I upgraded from Elites to Ksyrium SLs on one bike, they're a cracking wheel and i haven't had a problem with them in 3 yrs, then again i never had a problem with the Elites

The Elites aren't exactly heavy. If you just fancy new wheels then by all means spend the cash, but I doubt you will see any climbing improvement.

My thoughts exactly. Elites are perfect for climbing.

    Eh?

    Weight per set: 1080/1095g

Not exactly 'lightweight' are they? 2KG?

I'm tempted, but don't fancy exploding tyres half way down the Glandon this summer!
