Nice ride out to a local pub for a lunchtime pint. Several lovely women looking very fetching in their summer dresses, but I walked past all of them because I'd spotted a couple of nice looking bikes resting against a fence...

You don't need to give cycling a rest, you need your manliness checked!

Although I have to admit, I have been in the same position. Also with motorbikes or cars, when they are lots of nice things around, the women don't get noticed!
  • what's the problem?
The bikes won't complain about headaches when you want a ride

It can work both ways. I was fixing a puncture on my mtb yesterday when a very attractive young lady stopped to enquire if I needed any help. Happily married man that I am I thanked her for her concern and left it at that :-)

I often overtake female cyclists and gain a 3 minute lead, during which time I puncture my tyres on purpose in the hope that they'll stop and try to help. It has been a fairly successful dating strategy so far.
