After only doing mountain biking for around 4 years now and being 18 I can't afford petrol to get to decent routes to go offroad so started riding on the road. So it's time to get a road bike but I don't know which to go for...
My budget is around £600, would rather spend less than more but would like something decent that's going to last. Also i'm 6 foot 6 so need a bike that has a frame with a big size
Thanks
Simon

best thing to do is head to your LBS and see whats in your budget and give it a try, peronally for that money I'd look at specialized, they do great entry level bikes, though you'll want to check your fit on it.
If not there are very good offerings from Giant and Trek for that money.
Just make sure you sit on anything before you buy it,
Also its worth looking at places that offer finance, trust me the bike is just going to be the first expense, kitting yourself out is addictive and expensive.............0 -

Don't rule out the idea of a used bike from ebay or gumtree, there are a few bargains out there many of which have hardly been ridden.http://www.strathspey.co.uk - Quality Binoculars at a Sensible Price.
