Hi
I'm looking at either Carrera bikes or Viking bikes for a first road bike :) not sure what to go for. The two Vikings are the Torino and Milano:

Milano http://www.cyclecentreuk.co.uk/products ... 63s6p10748
and the Carrera is the Virtuoso

Which would you say is the best buy out of these? And the prices I've seen for the Vikings are much cheaper than those above, around £250-300. The difference between the two Vikings is carbon forks on the Torino vs a triple chainset on the Milano. I'm unsure as to which to get - I live in the north east and do a fair bit of hilly cycling, so I'm swaying towards the Milano, plus it's cheaper.
Looked at the Carrera but can't really differentiate it from the others, if anything it seems to have worse specs - neither carbon forks or a triple chainset.
Any help on this would be appreciated, hoping to pick one of these up ASAP. Thanks :)

If you do go for Carerra I'd get the Vanquish at £400. Get it in the next 4 days, otherwise you'll lose the extra 20% off.
    Say... That's a nice bike..

Viking Cycles were a premium bike brand made in Wolverhampton in the fourties, fifties and sixties. http://www.localhistory.scit.wlv.ac.uk/ ... Viking.htm
I inherited one in my teens restored it and rode it for about 10 years, a fantastic bike, campagnolo groupset, Mafac brakes etc. I still have the frame ready for a 2nd restoration and new lease of life.

These bikes advertised are not real Viking bikes. They are just a far-eastern made mass-produced bike with a classic name on it.
