Hi. I have broken my remote lockout for my Rockshox Forks. Rather than replace this I was considering reverting to the standard lock out lever on the fork stanchion. My LBS were unsure what parts to order and whether it would require also replacing the cartridge as well. My forks are Reba Team (dual air) from 2009. Any advice as to whats possible gratefully received. Cheers

You simply remove the damper, unhook the return spring, then add something under the topcap like a rubber washer to add some friction. Are some guides on the web on exactly what to do, just google for one.

Read the FAQs and it takes about 15 minutes to convert. All you need is a good 6 point 24mm socket or a 24mm box spanner (which any half decent car mechanic should be able to loan you) plus a set of circlip pliers, probably the easiest job to do on Rockshox forks.
