Mavic Ksyrium SLR

Does anyone know if you're stuck with the Mavic tyres that come with these or can you replace them with other clinchers? Or is it a marketing ploy to tie you into one tyre type only sold by Mavic? :?

The reason I ask is that I saw a pair in the flesh yesterday and they've made me go a bit loopy in the head. They looked and felt bloody special :shock:

Didn't get a chance to ask the Mavic rep who was present due to impatient mates :x

    No is the answer...You can use what ever Clinchers you feel like on um.

    I have these tyres fitted with my mavic r sys sl and they are awesome.
