Need to replace my Ultegra 6600 cassette 12 - 27. However I can't find one anywhere? All I can find are the newer Ultegra 6700 cassettes, but they don't do a 12 - 27. The nearest they have is a 11 - 28. I would prefer to keep with a 12 - 27 so, what are my options?

I see that Dura ace still make this ratio but they are a bit pricey..

Also concerned that if I switched to a newer 11 - 28 would my rear mech be able to cope?

My groupset is a 2008 Shimano Ultegra SL (the ice grey one) if it makes any difference.

Cheers for any help

Yes - this is something I am keen to avoid. I like the (relatively) close ratio of 12 - 27.

    Forgot to mention it's a 10 cassette

    Go for 105, which is still 12-27 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=50454

SRAM 10sp will also fit, they do 12-27 as well as 11-28

Myself, I agree with you that. 11-28 is too gappy although some others like them
