Shimano UN54 BB problem
I had a newShimano UN 54 BB fitted last year to go with my new FSA Carbon Pro Crankset. Due to work commitments i havent been out cycling that much in the last 8 to 9 Months on this bike so have probaBly ridden no more that 2,000 Kms on it. Yesterday i noticed some play in the BB area and on pushing the cranks with my hands i could quite clearly feel movement in the BB area.I got home and tightened up the BB with the Shimano tool and refitted the cranks but there is still play in the BB area. Does this mean the BB is worn already or am i missing something. Any advice, tips are most welcome.

if the axle can move in the BB yes it is dead.
it is not adjustable or serviceable"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
