Anybody use these?
Just after some cheap rubber for my old road bike and can get these for £9. Will I regret it over spending £20 on some Conti Gatorskins or similar.
Do they offer any puncture protection?

I have a pair of these. 500 miles in, seem pretty good. There is some kind of puncture protection on them (at least it says so on the sidewall). For the money, I think they're very good.
I haven't had any punctures so far. By writing that down, I bet I will get one now!!!0 -
Mine have been reliable too... I will replace with the same.... Where do you get them for a tenner as they retail for £20 on the net..Condor World Series 2012
Boardman Team 20110 -
I always run these, bought them off fleabay two for 14.99.
One thing I will say is I had a puncture at high speed, and my rim cut in to the side walls by the time i stopped.
The walls do seem quite thin,as opposed to some other tyres ive run.
Still buy them though as there cheap.0 -
Great Tyres, I use these for winter training/commuting and been very good in the wear/puncture performance.
They are however quite heavy, although makes me really feel my good wheels when I swap them over
Can't go wrong for the price.STOP!......... Carry on!

Thanks for the recommendations. I did go for them and they seem fine. Not too heavy in my opinion for a commuting tyre.
Not the easiest to wrestle on to the rims. The inevitable roadside change will be interesting.0 -
