Removing Endcap from Chainset ?

I need to replace my chainset as I want to fit a compact for a sportive on Sunday. I've done the pedals and the pinch bolts on the crank, but don't have anything to undo the black endcap in the end of the left crank.

Do I need a special tool (oh, and it's an Ultegra 6600) or is there any other way of doing it ?

Jeeze, I'm guessing the OP doesn't want to ruin it. The tool is £2 delivered from CRC FFS http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... ensions-UK

Thanks folks. I ended up taking the bike to the LBS, but will buy the tool for next time.
