speedplay light action adjustment

hi all,
following my posts about knee pain i took a friends advice and got some speedplay light actions. All is good and my knee pain has stopped. I do have one question which i hope some one can answer, when i twist out of them it seems that the heel in/out adjustment moves to the maximum heel out setting which is a bit awkward, as the next time i want to release from the pedals it is very awkward as the release point feels further out than my heel can twist. Anyone know how i can "lock" them to a more suitable position?
Thanks
Si :)

afaik the light actions are fixed at 15 degrees free float, so you cannot adjust

you could try changing the cleat angle on the shoes, but this is fairly limited

tbh the model zero might have been a better choice, you can adjust the free float on those and once settled in the clip in/out force is not so high
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny

    - True & I've got my limit screws (zeros) screwed in nicely - ive movement but the limits are just right...

Would it not be possible to use the Zero cleats on these pedals ????

Note: Light Action pedals are not compatible with Speedplay Zero and X-Series cleats.

its ok problem solved!! i hadnt done them up quite tight enough which was causing a small but significant amount of movement between the cleat/shoe and pedal
