Has anyone had any luck replacing an R-SYS rim?

Thanks in advance

Yes, but only on a worn out rim- if its pranged and the spokes have been shocked- forget it.

It a rim that is worn out on one side. To cut a long story short my brake calliper stuck on a particularly wet and dirty ride in the Alps last autumn. This resulted in a smooth braking surface on one side of the rear wheel. I'm due back in the Alps this summer and I'm not sure if I trust the wheel in its current state?

I'm sure they'll take their time, or at least they did with my plastic axle housing for my Ksyrium SLs ......

I've fired a couple of emails off to local Mavic dealers asking for time-scales and quotes. I must admit I don't fancy rebuilding them myself. I'll happily true a wheel with normal spokes, but I would be wary of torque issues with the R-SYS carbon spokes?
