If so, what are the trails like? Would be nice to find another reasonable riding spot easily reachable from here (Peterborough).

Just checked your little write up in the routes Forum - if I park at Great Wakerley Car park could I pick the trail up from there or is starting from Fineshades easier?
Amazing how something can be so close to home and I not know anything about it!

I'm off to the Peak's tomorrow to ride round Ladybower. After my ride round Nidderdale yesterday, I feel I could ride anywhere! Gutted I didn't turn my Endomondo on as I recon I must have cycled a good 25 miles. Oh well, tomorrow I shall remember to turn it onIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

The trails need riding to bed them in
Cake at Fineshades is damn good too.0 -
