Is that in Rockingham Forest somewhere?

If so, what are the trails like? Would be nice to find another reasonable riding spot easily reachable from here (Peterborough).

Not even that looking at the map - Wansford is about 10 mins from my house so I reckon Fineshades or Wakerley are only about 20 tops.

Just checked your little write up in the routes Forum - if I park at Great Wakerley Car park could I pick the trail up from there or is starting from Fineshades easier?

Amazing how something can be so close to home and I not know anything about it!

I'm off to the Peak's tomorrow to ride round Ladybower. After my ride round Nidderdale yesterday, I feel I could ride anywhere! Gutted I didn't turn my Endomondo on as I recon I must have cycled a good 25 miles. Oh well, tomorrow I shall remember to turn it on :)
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

  • I might play some lacrosse tomorrow.

I will also be spending the day wondering how much to spend on shoes and whether or not i should get more than one pair. I have narrowed it down to a choice of 4 and cannot work out which i prefer. I am like a blummin woman when it comes to shoes!

What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?

    I don't know about parking!
    If starting from Fineshades
As you head up from the A43 the trail start is on the left.
Oh its only been there just over a week
The trails need riding to bed them in
Cake at Fineshades is damn good too.
