I guess theres no easy way of getting there except riding lots, but how do you prepare fitness for a DH race weekend?

    Do lots of endurance training so you can last the whole weekend without being completely knackered by the time race runs come round. Also a lot of power and interval training is good to cope with pedalling out of turns hard, and lasting on those long pedally sprints. Upper body work is extremely important in preventing injury and being able to push the bike into places you need. Also focus a lot on your core so you can get sketchy but still manage to stay on the bike and pull off lines that require good balance and preciceness.
