Protecting Decals

Ok so I have decaled my Chi-done, is there anything I can do to coat them to proect them ?

The one on the seat post (Ritchey) is the only one that I put a top coat of clear coat lacquer on and to tell you the truth it made the decal look faded and the edges started to lift so I left all the others and they are stuck solid don't think they will ever lift,plus the SRAM decals on the top tube have taken a few knocks with no problems...
The decals on the saddle are of leaves,it just blends into the bush...
Genius! That saddle would go perfectly with this wooden bike

WHY ???
They chav up cars
Im trying to make a bike look like a factory made one, not a chav'ed up Corsa.

Yeah, they sometimes surpass even the most chaved up corsa... even a fiesta!
