Anyone bought any of this gear, need some new gear due to weight loss but on a budget..
http://www.encove.co.uk/cycling-jerseys/cat_2.html
Any idea sizing wise it quotes order by waist size due to European sizes. But my chest is 42" but according to there chart I need a XXL which quotes 38-40" waist I'm a 34"
Trying to save money so don't want to be having to pay for return postage..

I found this website by browsing the other week and I couldn't believe the prices they were selling gear at.
If it is any good then it will represent top value.
Please could you post in this thread to let me know what you think of the gear (once you sort sizing out!)

I ordered some stuff from this website for commuting to work, a long sleeve jersey and a windproof gilet. The sizing was rather on the small side, or maybe I'm rather larger than I like to think! Quality of gilet I was very impressed with, shame it was just slightly too snug, and that was the largest size! The jersey looked good for a commuting jersey if you don't want to shell out too much cash, again for me the sizing was too small, so I returned both and ordered a Northwave jersey from Wiggle instead which was more expensive but better quality.
On comparison of what I did see the jersey looked better than the one I bought previously from http://www.cycle-clothing.co.uk/ for commuting to work.Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

Chest wise i'm a 42" which measured up fine, waist wise i'm a 36" which is where it was slightly too snug for my liking and didn't look attractive!Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

I've only bought some arm warmers from them (a bit of test to see what they'd be like). Good, quick service and they were helpful on the phone. The arm warmers are fine and I'll probably order other stuff from them in the future.“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

Guess that was 2XL sizes you ordered then?
Seems strange would have thought 42" chest 36" wast is proportion.0 -

I think it was I can't remember for sure. What I did notice though is that the jersey was quite short, I thought it would it be too short when bent over in a cycling position.Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

I've always had good stuff from that site and their printing service is pretty useful.0 -

I've ordered some overshoes from them that i've found good for when the weathers a bit cold & miserable.Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

Just wanted to drop an opinion down for anyone considering buying some Deko shorts: don't! Unfortunately you do get what you pay for. I've had a pair of their bib-shorts and jersey for nearly six months in which time I've used them plenty and bought other clothes to compare them to (Altura, Dhb and Castelli). Firstly fit: I'd say it is relaxed rather than sporty, so go with your regular size of short. Same with the top - it's cut relatively loose, like an Altura Night Vision jersey. The top is in fact okay, but the short is where the budget nature of the product is a problem. The pad is thin and hard - it literally feels like cardboard. I find it doesn't offer any useful padding. The material also doesn't wick well and feels clammy when you're sweaty. I've found my slightly more expensive Dhb shorts better and my Castelli shorts sooo much better - definitely four times better (which is the price difference). In my opinion Deko shorts = avoid and the jersey okay.0

I dont know about the shorts etc as would always go for higher level kit there.
However I cant speak highly enough of the tops. I have long sleeve tops (white - have stayed bright white!) and short sleeve jersey that i've worn almost every day for commuting for the last year and the have not failed me yet.
Their service is also fantastic, next day delivery and communication is great whenever i've needed it. Only issue can be the sizing which isnt as easy as other brands.
Great everyday kit.0 -
iv been wearing the long sleeve shirts for a few months now cant complain at all , as usual with bike clothing you have to size up, im a 44 chest and found the 4xl a perfect fit , bib shorts & bib leggings fantastic at a low price0
