We have it and it's constantly breaking, they just say reset it which loses all your saved programmes normally, and just dies a lot.

Got to say I've never had a significant problem in almost 12 years with VM (previously Telewest & Blueyonder). Rather incredibly I have not had a single day in all that time where my internet connection was not working.

I do have to reboot my V+ box from time to time but have never had to factory reset it. If I was having repeated problems I'd demand a replacement unit.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

It's been replaced, everythings been changed. We report it and they're useless, I know other people who have similar problems too.

I've had issues and also had pi$$ poor excuses as t owhy the internet was slow etc such as 'a lot of traffic in your area', lot of traffic at 1am?, traffic management is the faithful fall back they also use but I am careful on that matter and only abuse it out of hours like 8gb an hour for 6 hours :D
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Had Virgin media for the last two years now, and have only had problems once with the internet, re set everything etc, then rung them up, was told to re set again and it magically started working again, not sure what the problem was there.

Apart from that though, it seems pretty decent, good speed broadband and plenty of channels on the TV, including some HD ones and other channels which we didn't have last year, but pay the same price and have this year.
