    Welcome to the site.

I also ride Haldon, but you won't see me unless you get up real early.

Are you looking for advise on what wheels to get or are you looking for a second hand set?

i some times get up there for half six as its always nice to see some deer!
i was looking for a spare set of rims so i can run some road slicks and get some miles under my belt.
i found some alloy 6 spoke wheels with cassette that im going to try out.

You might see me then as that about when I get there.

Having a second set of wheels sounds a good idea but in practice can be a real pain. You may need to move the brake calipers every time you fit the wheels which is time consuming. Also the cassette and chain my not work together. People on here are split, some people find it works others had lots of trouble. I just change the tyres as I can do it quickly.
