Which headset and stem for rockshox judy?

in an attempt to get rid of the awful zoom forks on my bike, I'm going to have some rockshox judy fitted that a friend is replacing. There's nothing wrong with them, he just fancies some new ones.

So can anyone recommend a headset and stem? I don't want to spend a fortune as the bike just isnt worth it, I'm just making some small improvements until I can afford something a lot better. I think the zoom forks are 1 1/8" threaded and the jury's will be unthreaded...

Just a barracuda colorado. I got it new about 3 yes ago. To be fair, it's a really light frame that seems strong with good quality welding and other than the forks I really like how it rides..

You need to measure the steerer width - might actually be an inch.

According to t'internet, the fork that's on at the moment is 1 1/8"....

And really need to work out your existing headtube/steerer diameter before you go any further.
Just 'thinking' something is a size isn't really enough.

Or as a second option, would you spend just over fifty quid on some suntour xcr's or put the second hand judy's on?
