preventing corrosion of bottom bracket
Just had a possible light bulb moment, or just won dim wit of the year award !
Thinking about another post re replacing bottom bracket, this is not something I want to do immediately, bike is only a month old, but I can foresee a time where I will want to replace/upgrade.
Now it struck me that as the frame is hollow by removing a bottle cage bolt and applying liberal amounts of lubrication to the inside of the frame that lubrication will sink to the bottom bracket and thus help prevent any internal corrosion associated with the threads..?
Good or Bad? or

I don't think it will help a lot. IMO
I've always had problems with bb's in frames when there not greased properly with an anti-sieze compound
Best thing too do is take them out, apply copper grease and re-insert.
Though I never bother with new frames unless they come from halfrauds0 -
Err....
Why not remove the bottom bracket now, apply grease to the threads and put it back? Your "idea" would just get a load of grease all over the inside of your frame, 0.000000% of which would find its way to the threads of your BB.0
