Are pedal on any good?

Hi guys,

Just a quick question, has anyone used "Pedal On" before? You can get a lot of extra gear when you buy a bike from them, but I've never used them before. Can anyone vouch for them?

Thanks,

Yep, excellent - see this thread.

They have a small loop out the back of their shop, which is handy if you want to 'try before you buy' and cannot get to a demo day.

My mate bought a Anthem X4 off them mail order. 8 months on and the Fox F100 fork blew a seal and oil went everywhere, rang them up on my mates behalf and they were excellent none of the usual you must have been riding wrong toss you get off some shops. Fork was sorted and returned in less than a week. Plus the woman I spoke to sounded well fit.

Thanks for that guys, I'm getting more tempted by the very shiny Anthem X3! Although I've just got back from the Giant store and from what I can gather is that they will offer me 10% off the list price. Now what do I want? 10% (£215) off or lots of free things (£325)!?!?!?!

I'm just a little embarrassed that I didn't find that thread myself!

    But dv69, HA!

... or even an X2 :D It's only £200 more, and you won't be tempted to upgrade so I'm sure it's worth the extra just for that

    You know it makes sense.

    Quiet you! You're not helping!!!

Also I like my limbs. Spending anymore money would end with my girl friend chasing me with a sharp object.

    pedalon are great!

£50 deposit i took an Anthem X2 out for a 2 day hire, ended up buying an X3 some months later.

cant fault them, real helpful and great stock. only downside is you cant order over the phone
