New bike - but what is this?

I have just bought a road bike, a BeOne Briza.
All is good but I was wondering - there seems to be a single 5mm(?) allen bolt on the front underside of the top tube.
Can anyone tell me what it is for? I could probably provide a picture if it's not clear exactly what I'm talking about.
Thanks!

Eh? Can we have a picture to show where the "front underside of the top tube" is?More problems but still living....0 -
I believe it's to attach your race number to.
'09 Enigma Eclipse with SRAM.
'10 Tifosi CK7 Audax Classic with assorted bits for the wet weather
'08 Boardman Hybrid Comp for the very wet weather.0 -
Here's a photo of the bike up-side-down. Looking underneath the toptube at the front end of the bike.0

One of my MTB frames had a bolt in the same place, to hold a hose guide if you were running hydraulic brakes ...but I can't see that being the purpose here.........................

That's where you fill the frame with energy drink. Use a long straw to suck it back out.0

That's just where the spare 5mm Allen bolt is kept. Just like a shirt has spare buttons insidefellow cyclists please visit - www.justgiving.com/markfaloon0

This is honestly the best answer I have ever heard on this forum =P
but sorry OP, I have no idea either!!!0 -
It's the bikes belly-button.
...or to attach the race number.Cycling weakly0 -
Gateway to a parallel universe. Adjust it at all of our peril!
Funnily enough I found a strange little mount on my new bike on only one of the rear stays today and nowhere near anything useful. Maybe they just put them there to keep us guessing.0 -
Could it be an attachment for a pump to sit under the top tube?
I've recently found an extra mysterious bolt on my trek 1.7. It's on the rear of the frame down low ( just above the crank) facing the wheel. I had to remove the rear wheel to take it out to allow a mudguard to slide on..... Weird.fellow cyclists please visit - www.justgiving.com/markfaloon0 -

If you don't have a bridge on the chainstays, this could be a mudguard mounting point
Or it's the lazer button, but in a less convenient place
It's just a hill. Get over it.0
