A520 pedals
Hi, does anyone know if Shimano PD-A520 pedals are serviceable? The technical info on the Shimano website has exploding diagrams, but tells you to seek professional help for any problems. One of mine feels a little loose, and is making clicking noises occasionally. Everything seems to be as tight as it should be, but I don’t want to start dismantling it to regrease the bearings if I’ll never get it back together again. They’ve given 8 or 9 years of trouble free service, so I won’t be too sad if they need replacing.

As far as I am aaware they are serviced in the same way as all other SPD pedals -

I've done the Park method on all the SPDs I've had over the years. One pair did get new bearings, a tiny size IIRC and I was wary of them as I wasn't 100% sure I had done the locknuts up tight enough.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
