full sus time!

Hi all, right then ive finally sucumb to the lure of a full sus bike. ive got to chose tween the trance x and stumpy fsr. i dont want to get into a battle of the specs because they both have similar specs and price also i will be upgading parts as i go along. ive test rode both and just cannot chose. i wanted to know who has one of these and their thoughts. thanks.

Personally I would go with the stumpy as I have an irrational hatred for giants.
But the stumpy has 20mm more travel (140 instead of 120) so I would choose based on the riding you plan to do - more/faster descents = more travel (ie stumpy)
if you prefer XC/Marathon or just like pelting up hills faster then I would go for the Trance

Depends on which way you swing, oh and Stumpys aint slow up hills. Weigh the same as the trances with more travel and the lockout helps now and then

I've got an 09 trance x3, can't fault it in the slightest. Comfortable riding position, managed to take anything i've thrown at it, likes going up hills (more than i do) and great belting down them too!

The Maestro suspension system works well too, don't seem to struggle for traction often and works well under braking. The BB height does seem a fraction lower than other bikes though.
