Brake Lever Positioning.

I've noticed some images of pro-riders' bikes where the brake levers are toe'd-out making them easier to get your fingertips on - i.e. not in line with the drops.

I've got Shimano 105 and wondered if they can be adjusted as such? I admit to only noticing this on SRAM levers thus far.

Any input appreciated.

The new type Shimano levers (5700, 6700 and DA with under-tape cable routing) all have levers that stick out a lot more, as you`ve observed. Not really possible to do it with the earlier stuff, as the angle is set by how they are made and mount to the `bars.
