Ebay purchase mistake... or was it

Bought some 3T ergosum team bars off eBay. The ad says 44cm (o-o). I ride 44cm centre to centre and I thought o-o meant centre to centre. I got them and they are 42cm centre to centre. Too small for me. So my question is, have I got it wrong? If so, does anyone want some very nice 42cm 3T ergosum bars!?

    o-o is outer to outer, which is usually 2cm more than the c-c.
