HI all, I've decided to get these bars, however ive noticed some comments about the 4 degree outward bend of the drops. What kind of difference does this make to the fit? If i was to get 42cm bars, is this 42cm at the hoods or at the drop ends?
Cheers, Rich

I just measured mine (bars) and found that they are 42cm at the hoods and also at the drop ends. I find these to be the most comfortable bars I have used amongst countless others! Incidentally, I recently ordered another pair with an online retailer to be told they are discontinued??
Hope that helps.0 -
Yep that does help, thanks. So is there not much of a difference between hoods and drops then?0

My new set are the same too, 42 top and 42 at the ends.0

Just for information my 44cm Wing Pro Compact which also claims to have a 4 degree outward bend measures 42cm c-c at the tops and 44 across the drops.0

I've not measured mine, but there does seem to be a very slight flare towards the ends. It doesn't make much difference though.
I may be changing mine as they are too stiff for my liking.0 -
My Omega 44cm bars are 42cm c-c at the hoods and 44cm c-c at the end of the drops.0

If you do replace them, depending on wot size they are, can I make you an offer?0 -
So is that 44 c-c at the drops and 42 at the hoods? My current ergo shaped bars are 42's; I imagine an extra cm each side at the drops would hardly be noticeable
Looks like they are just over £30 new from the likes of CRC and Wibble. Would you take £15 for them?0
