Look at Northwave and Specialized shoes.

    +1

These are great shoes - and can be got as low as £60 if you hunt around. Personally I found specialised shoes + SL Combo to be problematic - hot spots \ numb feet etc.

There are also sidi mega wide but these are well over £200 - and can be difficult to source.

I didn't find these any wider than most standard width shoes tbh

You can get Sidi Mega for a lot less than £200, and they are not that difficult to get (Look how many Wiggle have)

+1. Shop around a bit and you can find a bargain, nearer a 100 than 200quid. And the sidi mega is a fair bit wider than your average shoe. Was much wider and more comfortable than the same sized specialized. I believe Lake do the widest shoes of all.

my Lake 42 wide are a tiny bit 'higher volume' fit than my Sidi 43 mega. Watch out for the fit around the heel. Try them both on if you can.
I've got some Lake CX170 43 wide to sell. If you're interested let me know.

My winter boots are Northwave and the summer ones are Spesh. I've got really wide feet and both seem ok with upto 5-6 hrs rides

Numb toes = road shock. Try fatter tyres and/or reduced tyre pressures.
