No contest - Shutt wins hands down.

Wore my new Shutt pro for the first time today for a lovely 50 round Surrey, they are a great pair of shorts. Could feel the quality straight away, well worth the money. dhb on the other hand, lets just say.... they're alright. As derosa said, no contest though.

I've got the Bibs reviewed above and the equivalent 3/4 Knicks - both superb comfort.

I haven't tried much else other than Santini Twistgel which are nice but the Shutt's are simply better all-round shorts. Particularly on the longer rides.

I love the Shutt Pro's for fit, style and an excellent pad. I am a bit gutted to see the logo starting to peel of one leg already though, and after just one ride and one cool wash. I expected a bit better tbh.

I still wouldn't pick the dhb's over them though, chalk and cheese from my experience!
  • The missus just ordered me a pair for my birthday next weekend. Quite looking forward to some nice bibs.

I'm not a big fan of the pad in Shutt bibs, unless they have changed it recently.

I loved them when I first got them, but 12 months later the pad chafes on anything more than 20 miles. I only wear them for commuting now.
    Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
    Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
    Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX

The label peeling is my only let down with the Shutt Pro. It may seem a minor thing but after a couple of washes the lettering is shot.I have other sports gear I've had for years and it looks no worse than the day I bought it.
  • Monday - contacted shutt for a size enquiry same day reply
Tues - ordered pro bibshorts email from shutt confirming my order
    Wed - bibshorts delivered
Fri - ride 40 mile happy bottom

I havent given them a good ride out yet but from my ride i can tell they are very comfortable compared to my other shorts.the service of shutt was very impressive excellent communication.I can recommend shutt for service and the shorts seem very well made.Shutt will be hearing from me again and no i dont work for shutt before anyone starts that one.
  • if you are getting new bibs, what size are your FS260's? Depending on their condition and size would oyu be interested in selling them?

    Thanks
