Reccomend me some shops.

Hi, just wondered if someone could recommend me a good few bike shops (online) mainly for accessories, gloves, shorts that kind of thing. Only ever used wiggle and evans. Google has about a million results, but would be nice to be advised which are good, and which ones to avoid.

I use eBay quite a bit but before buying I always put the name of the eBay shop into this forum search facility. It's stopped me from a couple of unscrupulous sellers.

The delivery service from Wiggle, is in my opinion absolutely superb!

Wiggle have slipped a bit imho. They don't offer anything like the value they used to. CRC, Superstar and Merlin all offer much better value, and quicker delivery.

If they have what you need Absolute Cycles on eBay give a great service. Ukbikeshop also a very good store. Reliable, usually competitve prices and only £1 delivery - usually next day.

The security issues were only with payments made directly on the site using cards, not PayPal.
And yes, they are now fixed.

I use Paypal online as it's easier, don't need to dig out my credit card, never had any problems with CRC or anywhere else.

I agree, pay pal is amazing, sometimes I actually hope a site accepts it just so i dont have to go downstairs and get my cards.

Bazaar think of Bike Outlet York as an online shop, they are my LBS..... I am going to have a look at their website!
