Stripped crank (pedal) thread

I've stripped about a third of the thread length on the crank arm (RH thread thankfully) and need to get it helicoiled (nothing there to re-tap). Anyone know the thread guage? I know the diameter is 9/16".

.... Or even better, anyone know a place that can do the job?

Thanks in advance.

Shimano tech docs say 9/16 x 20tpi for pedals.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

try any good LBS as this is a common problem and they will have taps for both the left and right threads plus the inserts.

    Longstaff Cycles can do them
Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.
