I know lots of people don't like matt black bikes, but think the Oltre Nero from Bianchi looks great. Well, that's apart from the blue seat clamp and dropout! What were they thinking?

Man that is one beautiful bike!

I'm a proud owner of a Bianchi Infinito, (bought from EpicCycles too  )

    How much is it?

Speakly only as a customer and with no other affiliation, Epic are a great LBS.

£3K for the frameset, think it's exclusive to Epic.

I HATE celeste, so I'd be more bothered about the celeste accents on the frame and the celeste body protectors on the cables.
  • Thats a stunning bike. I've said that ever since I saw it. At least being a new 2011 bike you'll get a much better warranty with it. Apparently Bianchi don't do crash replacement on older models

The finish on the frame is really nice. They should do it on the infinito because that oltre is a seriously ugly frame. Fork dropout to stem is just hideous.

One sexy frame. I think matt black frames either come into "win" or "loose" category, with no in between.
  • Not doing it for me I'm afraid!

That italian flag one is the best Bianchi paintjob ever.

I want the Oltre in the red & white colour scheme:

I sort of like celeste for short time periods, but over longer periods it makes me sightly queezy. I couldn't live with it.

Size 55 Oltre would fit me very nicely, I've checked the geo. Want. In Red. £3000 though....

I'm sort of hoping that next year's model will be effectively the same and that the 2011 framesets will be flogged at a massive discount in the autumn...

Still has the very stupid blue seat clamp and rear dropout. I don't want it just for that reason!

    :D

Wow! Now if I could only get that as my crash replacement frame for my Mono Q.

I would piss my pants with excitement

I was down at Epic a couple of weeks ago, and it looked amazing. As did all the Oltre's.
There's a matt finish Sempre coming too. Out of my price range though...
