Hello,
I am very interested in the Cannondale SL3 2011 model - http://www.davescycles.co.uk/products.p ... 1b0s2p2764.
Don't really understand most of the specs so does anyone have any experience or comments?
I read something about 1.5" forks are hard to upgrade, is this correct?
Thanks,
Dave.

Yes about the forks, not hard but not common. That said they often go on sale because of that.
You could do much better for the money though, spec is basic.I don't do smileys.

Oh right, seems a bit off putting now :S
The others I was looking at are:
Gt avalanche 1.0 - http://www.davescycles.co.uk/products.p ... 1b0s2p2241
Giant talon 2 - http://www.davescycles.co.uk/products.p ... 1b0s2p2506
Either of those a better option or could you recommend something? I don't want to go to halfords. I'd prefer to spend a little extra to opt for a local shop so I know I have somewhere to go for advice etc.
Thanks

Of those two I like the GT, but personally I'd go to Halfords.I don't do smileys.
