Hi,

With regards to the above...what do people use or prefer?
Any advantages to oil over the thicker stuff?
Are the Ozone claims about reducing lactic blah blah blah just a load of tosh?

Thanks

  • Never ever use them. Don't see the need for them to be honest.

I'm still wearing my tights at the moment but as the weather is improving, I'd be hoping to get the shorts on.
Just really for the early starts because I feel the cold a bit and as I get older, it takes my legs longer to warm up.
Don't want to have leg warmers on later as it warms up.....or have to have them stuffed into my pockets for the rest of the ride.

Ambre Solaire Original Tanning Oil is good for day to day use. Seems to get rid of the surface chill a little and offers protection in the rain.

I use Ozone in warm up,energizing and after competition creme.
I've found it to be very good especially the energizing oil.My legs certainly feel frsher for using it.
Just be careful though as I found the oil would stain my white shorts.

Rapha Embrocation might help but don't get it on your privates. Heats up nicely and smells great.

I think it's more of a mental thing than a real benefit ? Save your money ?
