Sram/Shimano groupset compatibility?

Hi folks,

I'm upgrading the chainset & brake calipers on my bike. My bike has Rival shifters & mech's. I'd like to put Ultegra 6700 chainset & calipers on the bike. Will they be compatible with the Rival shifters & front mech?

    Will somebody also please tell me if an Ultegra 6700 front mech is compatible with Rival shifters? I'm not overly impressed with the rival front mech so may take this opportunity to change that also.

    Yes. Although when set up right there should be nowt wrong with teh Rival one...
