Kmc chain

i,ve been given a x10sl off a mate for my birthday. Looking on the internet these look quality, any one used them?

    Your mate gave you an X10SL Chain!!! Who's your mate, ill ask him for a bike and see what he does. That chain is like 40 pounds.

    In regards to your question, i've been using one for awhile and it's good but it's not great. The best chain is the one designed for the rest of the drivetrain. It is how ever a great chain on a SRAM system just not on the Shimano rigs.

    I have KMC's on all my bikes, Shimano and SRAM... Lovin' the gold one!
    Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!

    Yes, he,s a good mate and an ex ribble employee, so he knows his stuff. Its going on campag, should be ok shouldn,t it?

    I used them all the time on my 10 speed Campag setup without a hitch.

    Gutted the 11 speed version is not suitable to be removed using the missing link connection, it was so handy for cleaning the chain etc before.
