Dedicated turbo wheel

I have a turbo trainer and I use a continental tire on my road bike whenever I use it. It's not so bad during the cold days but now the weather is getting better (some days anyways) and I need to swap it way too much, which is really annoying because it's really hard to put it on compared to regular tires. As such, I decided to buy a wheel for the turbo, but I'm really clueless about this so I need your help with my buying list :D

Buying list:

Rear wheel: I found a cheap one (Decathlon) so I assume it works fine for the purpose?
Cassette: My cassette is a SRAM PG-950 11-26 (9spd) so I was planning on getting another for the wheel but I couldn't find any. The closest I could find was SRAM PG-950 12-26 (9spd). Would this work too or do I really need the exact same gears? I could also get shimano or something but it should be the same brand right?
Tools: I never did anything to my bike besides changing tires and saddle height so I have no idea if I need anything. Do I need special tool or oil or something?

I'm sorry if this is really simple but I'm clueless and could use some help!

  • The wheel will be fine. The cassette will be fine. Sram and Shimano are interchangable so either will do

    Either

    a) Take wheel and cassette down to your LBS and ask them to fit cassette to wheel. It will take them 2 mins and I'd be surprised if they charged you - buy something off them instead.

    b) Buy a chainwhip and cassette lockring tool and do it yourself.

Thanks for the help! I just went to buy the wheel and the tools since I'm mad with my LBS at the moment and I'll need the tools in a few months anyways. I'll assemble it tomorrow and test it since it's a rainy day.
