According to chart on side packaging for my weight I should run them at 160psi
Krylions / Rubinos I run at 100-120 depending on road conditions; Anyone advise about teh seemingly very high psi for Pro race 3 s?

without knowing what your weight actually is, it's difficult to comment. I ran a pair last year and for RRs and crits they seemed to work best for me at around 115psi - I'm around 75kg...

That's odd. I've just had a look at my PR3s and they have 116psi (8bar) Maximium stamped on the sidewall.

    (I'm 72Kg and run a bit under 100psi front / a bit under 110 psi rear)

And my PR3 packaging says >80kg 116psi... So I'm not sure about the OP's packaging - can you take a photo?

+1 116 psi is the maximum Michelin recommend.

I run mine at around 120 psi when racing, normally around 110 psi. I would never put 160 psi in a clincher let alone a Pro 3 Race

160psi = a great way of splitting a rim - most rims aren't designed to safely operate above 8 bar. High pressures don't make you faster either, but you'll just puncture more often.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

160psi? I need to man up then as I can't stomach more than 120psi on my local roads, even with comfort orientated bike! Interestingly the brochure for my Prolite's advise running up to 200psi but why would anyone want to? The highest rated tyres I've seen are Vittoria Open Corsa CX's at 145psi. Surely just for track work though?

Don't forget the number on the side is the maximum pressure, not a recommended pressure.

My Veloflex Records say 10 bar, very rarely would I put 10 bar in them though, as unless you have a very smooth road you would be bouncing over the tarmac and losing speed.

I`m 77kg and run `em at 100 psi without dramas (cue the punctures next time out :? )
