New Groupset - Tools Required?

Morning,

After debating a new groupset for some time I've finally taken the plunge and gone for a campy chorus. I'm moving from an old shimano dura ace / ultegra set up and I'm confused as to what tools I'll need. So far I've heard mention of a chain peening tool or something along those lines and a couple of others. Would someone mind letting me know a rough list. I've already bought the freehub body, I don't think there are any other components I'll need. With regards to the tools, I'm assuming I'll need some sort of BB remover specific to campag etc?

Thanks in advance, Tom

you would need a tool to remove your bb and a tool to fit the new bb on and the same with the cassette

and of course chainwhip if you havnt got one there could

    Starting at the back....
    A Shimano cassette tool
    A Campag cassette tool
    A chain whip
    A set of allen keys
    A chain splitter
A BB removal tool (assuming both groupsets have external BBs you can use the same one)
    A Campag Ultratorque crankset tool
    A cable cutter
    A small screwdriver

Use a KMC chain with a chain link rather than a Campag chain then you won't need a special tool for instaling the chain.

    I think that's it.

Good thread , I'm looking to fit a ultra torque chain set tommy Scott soon , vie got everything I need apart from the bottom bracket which is currently tiagra. I'm guessing I'll need some sort of conversion for the ultratorque cups to fit ?

Remove your BB and just screw the UltraTorque cups in. Easy peasy. You are supposed to get the BB shell faced (if it hasn't been done already) but I didn't bother.
