superstar plasma chain device..

Hi

I was looking at buying a plasma chain device.. i have a genesis core 10 and i don't know if it will fit.. iif it will, what is a bashguard fitting. Do i need it?

Cheers.. i am aslo looking at building a tabletop jump.. and any useful tips would be much apprecaited..

  • Other will be better placed to advise on jumps etc but I can vouch for the quality of Superstar stuff - they say they use the same factories as the big manufacturers, but just add the extortionate mark-up on the prices. I've got Superstar pedals & lockring/cassette removal tool - both good. Even the box the pedals came in is great!
  • i'm curently using the superstar plasma chain device. its a good bit of kit. i havent lost my chain once since i started using it. there were a few clearance issues with my frame but 2 mins with a hacksaw sorted that out.

    if you want to run your crankset with a bashguard, you want to get the bashguard type. if you dont want to run a bashguard then get the non-bashguard type. Simples.

    I'm running a Plasma chain device on my 456SS. It is very good quality, works well, keeps the chain under control & quiet and comes with free haribo :D . The top guide is open on the bashguard option & closed on the non bash option.

    Plasma guide is great i run one on my trail bike and i think it's as good as the e13 SRS i have on my DH rig, would definitely recommend!!
