Bigger wheels?

I've just noticed theres to versions of the VooDoo bokor.

The first VooDoo Bokor has 26" wheels.

The VooDoo Bokor 29er has 29" wheels

Does the bigger wheel serve a greater purpose on the trails and road?

Which one should i get cause i'm kinda confused between the two...

    Thew first bokor has epicon forks with 140mm travel, the 29er has suntor with 100mm travel.
    I'm guessing for that the Epicons would be better?
