Hello all. I'm just finishing up a bike build. In the Chorus 2011 group I'm using, there were 4x CG-CS012 and 1x CG-CS013 included (page 21 of http://www.campagnolo.com/repository/do ... ic11-B.pdf). I cannot for the life of me think of where CG-CS013 should go, and the Campag manuals are zero help. Anyone got a clue?

Thanks

Looking at the differences between the two items, you use one or the other. It all depends on the stops on your frame.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Thanks Redvee - wouldn't that make more sense if there were the same number of each provided though? There were four of one and only one of the other...

The shape tells me it fits over the cable end and then into another piece of Campag kit machined to fit the narrower section... does it fit over the end of the RD loop and then into the RD barrel adjuster at the back of the RD?

    Comme ceci:

    Bondurant,

If I recall (did mine a couple weeks ago) it goes on the RD loop but onto the end that goes into the frame lug not the RD adjuster.

    I think.

If not, I may have put mine in the wrong place

Just to reaffirm. IT. IS. AWESOME!!! Feels like I have a new bike. Love it.

Hi. No go there either. Maybe time to accept I have either a rogue spare part or a part meant for differently machined braze-ons.

    Thanks all

I had the same issue when I moved to 10 speed Ultrashift. I couldn't and still can't find a use for it. Everything works fine without it.

The cable stop on the chainstays of some frames is a different type that needs the stepped ferrule:

It's only ever this one that's different, so you only get one odd ferrule with the cables.
