Apol's if this has ben asked many times before
The search function isnt good since the crash

OK I fancy running enclosed cables on my bike
The Gore ones on the BR front page have caught my imagination

The thing is my bike has a partially open/closed cable run

Are products like the Gore system designed to accommodate this or will I need to Dremmel off my cable braze-ons?

Cheers

you mean the gore ride-on ones?

to run fully housed, it's only the inner sheath that goes the whole length, the outer part fits just like your existing outer

there are a few variations, the professional one is here...

same page has links to other options, and also to installation instructions

Yes they are. The Gore cables run in a sleeve between the cable stops so are fully enclosed.
Even if you went to full covered cables I would not remove the stops. You may want to go back sometime, or sell the frame.
