looking for a new set of wheels for the summer bike on a budget of around £200.
wondering which of the above would be best? (will be using mainly for training, sportives and possibly the occasional race).

:D

I have been looking to do the same with a similar budget. Have been put onto these by looking on BikeRadar and only £170. Seem to get very good reviews.

Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.
  • How much do you weigh?

The braccianos can be had for around that much IIRC and are stonkingly light and relatively stiff if you're on the small side...

I bought a pair of prolites just after Xmas for £180 on offer on triandrun and intendednto keep them as my best wheels when I swapped from shimano to campag on my scott bike. I was then going to sell my old shimano wheels and buy a set of aksiums . Having seen those kinetics I'm tempted to give them a punt.
  • pro-lite bracciano - surely best wheelset at around £200?

I was after some Braccianos but struggled to find any online in my price range (Ribble have been out of stock for a while). In the end I went for some Ksyrium Equippe 2011's (Merlin Cycles for £220).

Haven't had chance to ride them yet went as went & got muddy on the Stumpy instread! 8)
