Whilst clearing out my aged aunts house, I found an Atlas of Great Britain ".. for Motorists, Cyclists and Walkers.."

Thought the advertisement on the back cover would be of interest to this forum.

Check out the detailed specification -- not a Japanese or Italian component in sight!

For those who don't know about Gamages, it was a world renowned department store that in its day was up there with Selfridges and Harrods.

    I wonder if the monthly payment price is on the Cycle2Work scheme?
    No-one wanted to eat Patagonia Toothfish so they renamed it Chilean Sea Bass and now it's in danger of over fishing!

    Funny how some parts are now in trend again. Like North Road handlebars, I've seen a few on commute bikes in London recently. There's hope yet for some of the old kit cluttering up my garage...
