Just wondering, what sort of prices have people paid to have a frame powder coated?

There's quite a few powder coaters down here and I need to be able to gauge how much is reasonable.

    £40 is about average.

  • ohh thats no as bad as I thought then!

hmm... best way to strip the paint being paint stripper and wet/dry to get a good finish?
Any tips for around the cable guides?

I like green or blue I think.

most powder coaters will strip the frame for you. i had a frame done in bamber bridge near preston by a firm that do car alloy refurbs. they did a superb job, they used the same silver paint as they use on car wheels and finished it off with an iridescent coat. cost £60 for a full suss frame and they stipped and prepped it. below is the finished item.
